The Scottish League Cup final takes centre stage north of the border this weekend but there look to be a couple of good betting opportunities in the Premiership.

Hearts lost their unbeaten home record against Rangers last time out, but there was nothing wrong with their performance. The Jambos had more of the ball, won the shot count 13-9 and had ten corners to the league leaders' five.

Before that loss Robbie Neilson's men had won at Livingston and performed with credit in a 1-0 defeat at Celtic.

Dundee have lost three on the bounce, shipping seven goals, and they managed only a single shot on target at Hibs on Tuesday. Hearts weren't in action in midweek so should be well rested, and they look good value at 21-20.

Ross County have climbed off the bottom of the Premiership table, and although conceding in the 97th minute against Celtic on Wednesday was a blow, they can take plenty of positives from their recent games.

The Staggies have lost just two of their last seven matches and those defeats came against the Bhoys and Rangers.

Malky MacKay's men are putting up far better numbers than Livingston this season and there doesn't seem too much to fear from a trip to Almondvale. Livi have scored just five goals in their last eight games and Ross are worth punting.
