Preview

Celtic have been hit fairly hard by injuries in recent weeks and things didn't improve on that front in the Europa League on Thursday.

Kyogo Furuhashi and Albian Ajeti were both forced off through injury against Real Betis and that could leave the Bhoys short up top. Tom Rogic and Carl Starfelt are out for the visit of Motherwell on Sunday, while James Forrest and Jota missed the game against Betis in midweek.

Of course, Ange Postecoglou still has plenty of quality at his disposal, but with big players missing, they may struggle to hammer home their advantage against the Well.

Graham Alexander's side have been in good form and a draw at Easter Road last weekend made it just one defeat in five for Motherwell.

The Well have conceded just four goals in their last five games and they should be able to stand fairly firm against a depleted Celtic forward line.

Before that, St Mirren host managerless Hibs and the Buddies look excellent value at 15-8.

Jack Ross was sacked after an awful run of seven defeats in their last nine top-flight games. Paul McGinn and Paul Hanlon are both suspended after their red cards at Livi on Wednesday, and it's difficult to see where the needed improvement is going to come from.
