Match preview
With Poland’s World Cup playoff against either Sweden or Czech Republic looming on Tuesday, it’s unlikely that the Eagles will risk their high-profile names in this friendly against Scotland.
For the home side it will be a good chance for Steve Clarke to assess his squad against top-level opposition, with their playoff against Ukraine moved back to June.
Captain Andy Robertson will miss out and it’s possible that Clarke will give a chance to some of his young stars.
However an elder statesman of the squad and potential skipper in Robertson’s absence is fancied to get on the scoresheet - John McGinn.
The Aston Villa midfielder features in a more advanced role for his nation and is the only player in the squad with a double-figure goal tally for his country.
