Verdict

Stockport v Dagenham & Redbridge is the only fixture in the National League after neither side made it through to the FA Cup first round, and the Daggers can come out on top at Edgeley Park.

Both teams have struggled for form recently with Stockport winning only two of their last ten, while Dagenham have been victorious only once in their last six.

But despite their slump the visitors have consistently held their own and their three recent losses have all been to teams likely to be in the mix for promotion.

Most notably they have conceded only eight goals on the road, the least in the league, and given Stockport have allowed that number in their last three at home they could be outscored.

In the National League South, Weymouth take on Hampton & Richmond and the hosts look poised to continue their good form.

The Terras are unbeaten in their last eight and have won five of their seven home games this season. Their appetite for goals is impressive - they have scored three or more times in five of those games.

After a rocky start Hampton won four on the bounce before a home defeat to Dartford on Tuesday, and the demands of that midweek fixture may not help their chances in this contest.

Braintree have been in freefall after heavy losses to relegation candidates Tonbridge and Hungerford, and following the resignation of manager Glen Driver on Thursday they could face another defeat against high-flying Hemel Hempstead.
