Verdict

Barrow have been flying in the National League with victories in their last seven league matches, and they could extend that tally when they make the long trip to Torquay.

The Bluebirds were boosted by manager Ian Evatt’s contract extension last week, and aside from a 1-0 loss to Solihull in the FA Cup last week, they have scored at least twice in each of those seven wins.

That could worry Torquay, with only four teams conceding fewer goals than the Gulls this season. They aren’t shy in front of goal themselves, which could make for a high-scoring affair, but with Barrow in such good form they look worth backing to continue their run.

Harrogate are another side who have been in blistering form, unbeaten in their last seven games, and they should have too much for Aldershot.

The Shots' inconsistency in the league was highlighted when they followed up a 4-0 win over Dover with a 3-0 defeat to Hartlepool.

They have scored just once in their last three away matches, and face a tall order to change that with Harrogate keeping clean sheets in their last four games at Wetherby Road.

Goals have regularly been in short supply whenever Chorley have played, and that could be the case again when they host Yeovil.

Their last four league matches have finished 0-0, and while Yeovil are fancied to end that run having notched in 15 of 17 games this season, the Magpies should be able to keep it low-scoring.
