Verdict

After a real slump in form Solihull appear to be getting their season back on track, and can continue their progress with victory at Boreham Wood.

Having picked up 13 points from five games at the start of the season, Tim Flowers’ side suffered a serious slump that saw them lose five of their next six.

However, they are now unbeaten in their last three, and the return of Adi Yussuf on-loan from Blackpool looks to have made a positive impact.

Boreham Wood have been one of the National League’s highest-scoring teams, but inconsistency means they sit only 13th. They are yet to secure back-to-back victories this season and have won twice at home.

While they can be a threat up top, Solihull should be able to account for them.

Meanwhile Bromley suffered their first defeat of the season at Yeovil last week, and could be in for further punishment when they host Barrow.

The Ravens remain top of the league but there is an argument that fortune has been on their side, with just one of their eight wins coming by more than one goal.

Barrow are in flying form, winning their last five, and they have no trouble finding the net, scoring 13 times during that period. They could make it a super six at Hayes Lane.

Fylde have had a woeful season highlighted by a 4-0 home defeat to Barnet on Tuesday. They face a trip south of nearly 300 miles to take on a rested Torquay side full of confidence after smashing Stockport 4-0 last week.

Gary Johnson’s side should have the edge at Plainmoor.
