National League preview

Torquay have been in woeful form, losing their last four and being thumped 5-1 at home to Stockport last weekend, and could suffer a fifth straight defeat when they visit Harrogate.

The hosts have slightly dropped off but remain in the playoff places with just two defeats in their last 14 games, while scoring two or more in five of their last six.

They boast the second-best home form in the league and have picked up 20 points from their last eight matches at Wetherby Road.

With Torquay struggling and leaking plenty of goals, Harrogate should have their number.

Both teams have scored in eight of Ebbsfleet’s last nine matches and more goals are expected when they visit Eastleigh.

Despite being bottom of the league, the Fleet have lost just one of their last seven and, remarkably, they have scored the most goals in the lower half of the table. However they have also conceded more goals than any other side and kept two clean sheets all season.

Eastleigh haven’t done much better at the back with only three clean sheets, but they have been shut out at home only twice. Expect plenty of goals at Ten Acres.

Barrow have been in great form for the past three months, winning 12 of their last 14 games, and they can stay top of the table with a victory over Aldershot.

The Bluebirds have scored 11 in their last four games while Aldershot have notched in each of their last five. However, they have struggled at the back and Barrow should have too much for them.
