Bury v Bristol Rovers
Life’s a gas right now for Bristol Rovers who have defied predictions that their world was going to fall apart once hotshot Matty Taylor left the building.

Taylor joined fierce rivals Bristol City at the end of January but while his new club continues to flounder, the one he left behind is buzzing.

Rovers are at Bury this evening looking to make it ten games in a row unbeaten in Sky Bet League One and they are well worth a punt to get the job done.

This isn’t any old nine-match unbeaten streak that Rovers are on. This is a sequence which includes draws against Bradford, Sheffield United, Bolton and Scunthorpe and has culminated in back-to-back 2-0 wins against Oxford and Southend.

Billy Bodin, a better player than Taylor anyway, is scoring goals and they’ve conceded only four in nine since no-nonsense Stoke youngster Ryan Sweeney (a chip off the Ryan Shawcross block, if ever there was one) arrived on loan.

Recommendation
Bristol Rovers
2pts 17-10 Hills

Scunthorpe v Rochdale
Confidence has gone through the floor at Glanford Park and Scunthorpe should be taken on at every possible opportunity.

Table-toppers at the turn of the year, the Iron have plunged to fifth in the division without a win in nine.

Saturday’s 3-2 defeat at Gillingham – 2-0 up, cruising yet undone by a trio of late penalties – must have been soul-destroying and Rochdale can take advantage of the feelbad factor around the home camp.

Dale have also hit the buffers with too many draws of late but are still hard to beat.

Recommendation
Rochdale draw no bet
2pts 13-8 Sky Bet
