Match preview

Rotherham fans who feared the worst when manager Paul Warne walked out of the New York Stadium have been proved right and Blackburn can pile more misery on Matt Taylor's freefalling Millers.

The Reds were mid-division and punching successfully above their weight when Warne got a call from Derby in September that he just couldn't ignore.

His replacement Taylor has since presided over just three wins in 17 games, with none in the last seven, and last Saturday's 4-1 drubbing at Ipswich in the FA Cup third round was a real sickener.

Remarkably, they have actually lost one fewer Championship game than Blackburn, who go into the weekend in third place.

Yet the reality is that Rotherham, once again, look out of their depth in tier two and Rovers, having hammered the Yorkshiremen 3-0 at home in Taylor's second game in charge, should have little difficulty completing the double.

Key stat

Rotherham have conceded at least two goals in each of their last six matches.
