RoPS v HJK Helsinki: betting preview, tip & TV details

RoPS enter their Finnish top-flight game against HJK Helsinki in fair form having taken four points from their last two games.

But last year's runners-up in the 12-team Veikkausliiga have been struggling for goals this time and find themselves in ninth place.

The loss of last season's top scorer Lassi Lappalainen, who chalked up eight goals, has hampered the hosts and they have managed only seven in their first ten games this term.

The recently-capped Finnish winger was on loan at RoPS from opponents HJK Helsinki, who have reclaimed his services this year.

Lappalainen has found the net twice for reigning champions HJK, who have in general found goals easier to come by than RoPS. However, although they have lost only twice, frailties at the back have seen them draw six and win only three of their 11 games this season, leaving them in fifth position.

HJK have particularly struggled on the road managing just three points from five matches on their travels. A bumper schedule has seen them play five games in 23 days and that is likely to have been a factor in their poor away form.

Both teams would probably settle for a point in Rovaniemi and that looks a likely outcome.
