Hearts began their first European group stage campaign since the 2004-05 season with a demoralising 4-0 defeat to Istanbul Basaksehir at Tynecastle and they could also have a tough time of it on matchday two away to Rigas FS.
Latvian outfit Rigas managed to take a surprise point off Fiorentina in their opener, despite allowing their Serie A opponents 32 shots, and on home soil they should avoid defeat again.
Hearts have made a miserable start to the season, losing six of their last seven fixtures in all competitions, while they have lost three and drawn one of their four away contests this season.
This is the kind of game they should win if they are to progress to the knockout phase but a draw looks the more likely outcome.
