DC United have been a changed team since their move to Audi Park in July and they can continue their belated playoff push with victory over Chicago Fire.

Forced to play 12 of their opening 14 matches away due to prolonged construction of their new home, United have since seen an upturn in form, aided by the addition of Wayne Rooney.

Former England international Rooney bagged a brace in the team's 5-0 demolition of Montreal Impact last time out, as the Black & Red extended their unbeaten run to six matches.

They claimed the scalp of Atlanta and held New York Red Bulls at home last month and Chicago could prove feeble opponents.

The visitors were eliminated from playoff contention following defeat to New York City and have little to play for as the regular season peters out.

Fire won their most recent clash 3-1 against Los Angeles but they are without a league win on the road since May and they could be put to the sword by DC's free-flowing front line.

Luciano Acosta has 16 assists in the league this term and has formed a superb relationship with Rooney in the final third as the hosts look to build on 14 goals in their last five matches.

United are a short price for victory and backing them for a clear win on the handicap looks a better option.

Recommendation
DC United -1 goal on handicap
