Rennes will be tougher proposition for Lyon

Lyon got off to a flyer in Ligue 1 with a 4-0 hammering of promoted Strasbourg with Nabil Fekir – now minus strike partner Alexandre Lacazette – bagging two.

But Friday's trip to remodelled Rennes will be a far sterner test. The Bretons were solid at home last season and can give Lyon a game having added the likes of Ismaila Sarr and Jordan Tell to their cast.
