East Fife have transformed their season after a dire start to their campaign and they can keep it going with a win against Stenhousemuir at Methil in Ladbrokes League One.

The New Bayview side have gone from one win in nine in all competitions to winning their last four.

One of those, in the Challenge Cup, was against a strong Partick Thistle side and the penny seems to have dropped with Darren Young's side.

Defensively they look more solid with Daryll Meggatt getting plenty of plaudits and Chris Kane has been in fine form for them too.

Stenny will be in a relegation battle and are especially vulnerable away from Ochilview having lost every away game this season. And Fife should keep their bandwagon going.

Stirling Albion should be doing a lot better this season in Ladbrokes League Two with the squad they have at Forthbank, but they have the perfect opportunity to kickstart their season at Albion Rovers.

Rovers' dismal campaign finally improved last week when a draw at Cowdenbeath saw them pick up their first point of the season.

But although the Coatbridge outfit have improved, they are still comfortably the worst side in Scotland.

Prior to last week's disappointment against Annan Athletic, the Binos had picked up a couple of decent wins against Elgin City and Queen's Park.

They have been struggling with a lengthy injury list for much of the season, but that is starting to clear.

And Albion can prove last week was a blip with victory at Cliftonhill.

Ross County can produce a big win at Dundee United as two of the pre-season Ladbrokes Championship title favourites clash.

County have inexplicably gone three games in a row without a goal, which included goalless draws at Queen of the South and at home to Highland rivals Inverness.

But with strikers Billy McKay and Brian Graham in their squad, who have netted at a higher level, it has to be only a matter of time before they turn it around.

United have been boosted by the return of inspirational skipper Fraser Fyvie, but hapless boss Csaba Laszlo remains under huge pressure.

County look overpriced to win at Tannadice, having already beaten United this season in Dingwall.
