Pukka Teemu Pukki loves delivering late goals for highflying Canaries

Norwich's Finn in fantastic form

Given that he is Finnish perhaps we should not be too surprised he is an excellent finisher but Norwich hero Teemu Pukki's goals have been one of the main reasons why the chirpy Canaries are sitting top of the Sky Bet Championship.

Pukki has had a varied career, starting off at KooTeePee before moving to Sevilla, a switch which never paid off, much like his transfer to Schalke after a successful stint back in Finland with HJK.

After failing to make the grade at Schalke, Pukki moved to Celtic where he scored only seven league goals in 26 appearances and many believed his time outside Scandinavia was finished following a move to Denmark.

However, the now 28-year-old was prolific in his last two campaigns for Brondby, scoring 37 goals in 70 matches, and he has carried that form on since arriving in Norfolk on a bargain free transfer.

Pukki has notched 12 times in 18 league outings for Norwich, but more than that he has popped up with so many vital goals.

The striker scored the last-minute winners against Millwall and Bolton and 12 of his 13 goals in all competitions have come in the second half, which could make him a potential goal-minutes buy for Sunday's televised trip to Bristol City.

The Finn has started 18 Championship matches and his goal minutes average is 43.
