Bristol City took time to adapt after winning promotion from League One in 2015 and they can hand out a harsh lesson to newly-promoted Burton at the Pirelli Stadium.

Ten games into the 2015-16 campaign, Bristol City were stuck at the foot of the table and still hadn’t registered a home win.

Their fortunes improved and they ended up 18th, 12 points clear of relegation, but it was a steep learning curve and they should have benefited from the experience.
