The four Group A teams challenging for spots in the Gold Cup quarter-finals head to Houston and it's Honduras who face the most serious problems.

Honduras, 1-0 losers to Costa Rica in their opener, must justify their odds-on status against French Guiana to stand a decent chance of qualifying for the next phase.

French Guiana received a major blow on the eve of the tournament when former French international Florent Malouda was deemed ineligible and they started with a 4-2 loss to Canada, who face a step up in class against group favourites Costa Rica.
