Pressure set to spur on Leeds against Fleetwood
Garry Monk is under pressure after beginning his Leeds tenure with a dismal 3-0 defeat at QPR but he can lead the Yorkshire side to an EFL Cup win over Fleetwood on the Fylde coast.
There will be changes to the side Monk selected at Loftus Road and that might not be such a bad thing.
Alex Mowatt and Liam Cooper – regulars in the Leeds team last season – are likely to be promoted from the bench and there could be a first appearance of the season for new signing Pablo Hernandez, whose international clearance has come through.
