Crystal Palace claimed their first win of the Premier League season in fine style as Patrick van Aanholt’s late goal sealed a 2-1 victory for the 9-1 shots away to Manchester United.

Daniel James looked to have rescued a point for 4-11 United with his 89th-minute goal but Palace’s winner came in the third minute of injury time to increase the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Marcus Rashford missed a penalty for the Red Devils – as Paul Pogba did in Monday’s draw at Wolves – and Coral make Pogba evens to take United’s next spot-kick with Rashford 6-4 and any other player 9-4.

Solskjaer is 8-1 with Hills to be the next top-flight manager to leave his job and Watford’s Javi Gracia has been cut to 5-1 following the Hornets’ 3-1 home defeat to 13-5 shots West Ham.

Liverpool are 13-5 to win the Premier League after a convincing 3-1 victory over Arsenal at Anfield, where Mohamed Salah scored twice for the Reds.

Chelsea beat Norwich 3-2 in the early kick-off with goals from Tammy Abraham (two) and Mason Mount while there were also away successes for Southampton (2-0 at ten-man Brighton) and Leicester, who won 2-1 at Sheffield United.

The Blades are 6-5 to be relegated – Newcastle are 11-10 favourites for the drop – while fellow promoted side Norwich are 7-4 to go down.

Palace have been eased to 11-4 for relegation after their shock victory at Old Trafford and Watford, bottom of the table after three straight defeats, are 7-2 to be playing in the Sky Bet Championship next season.

Leeds are as short as 5-4 to win the Championship title following a 3-0 win at struggling Stoke.

In Sky Bet League One, Ipswich won 5-0 away to Bolton, having been 1-10 for victory over the severely depleted Trotters.
