Peterborough odds worth taking despite changes
MK Dons lacking firepower
From 7pm Tuesday
Peterborough boss Steve Evans has named an unchanged side for all six of their Sky Bet League One fixtures this season but his back-up players can show there is plenty in reserve in their EFL Trophy tie at League Two MK Dons.
Evans rang the changes in their League Cup match - a defeat at Championship side QPR - but this is a significant drop in grade which should suit those desperate for a chance to force their way into the first team.
Josh Yorwerth, who looked a class act at Crawley, and George Cooper, who impressed at Crewe, are set for starts and the team could also be boosted by Marcus Maddison and Ivan Toney.
Recent loan recruit Jamie Walker from Wigan is another in need of minutes and this is a decent opportunity for them against an MK Dons side lacking firepower with only six goals in as many league matches this season.
Holders Lincoln are 23-20 to kick off the defence of the trophy with a home win over Mansfield.
