Danny Noppert v Alan Soutar

This looks set to be a competitive clash with Alan Soutar yet to drop a set in his two matches at this year's tournament and Danny Noppert one of the most improved players on tour. Both can be big 180 hitters, particularly Noppert, so take them to combine for over 12.5.

Gary Anderson v Chris Dobey

Chris Dobey is yet to showcase his undoubted talent with a deep run at the worlds but this could be his year and he should prove a tough nut to crack for Gary Anderson after beating Martijn Kleermaker 3-0 last time out. Back Dobey plus 1.5 sets on the handicap.

Joe Cullen v Damon Heta

Damon Heta has come out on the wrong end of two matches against Joe Cullen on TV this year and the Australian may suffer the same fate again so take Cullen to make it three in a row.

Michael Smith v Martin Schindler

With the sets required to progress to the next round increasing to four, the line for 180s has also increased. However, Martin Schindler has lost nine of his last ten meetings with Michael Smith and Bully Boy could get the job done in a hurry, meaning that under 15.5 180s is an appealing bet.
