Scottish football begins a new era tonight with the introduction of Ladbrokes Premiership colt teams in the Scottish Challenge Cup.

The Under-20s from all of the top-flight teams will be in the competition this year and make their entry tonight in a regionalised draw.

In addition, by the time the competition reaches the fourth-round stage, two teams from Northern Ireland (Crusaders and Linfield) and two from the Welsh Premier League (Bala Town and The New Saints) will join it as well.
