Orlando City are yet to light up Major League Soccer this season but they should have the edge when they welcome Sporting Kansas City to the Exploria Stadium for their first ever "Neon Night".

The hosts will wear their white origins kit in a match broken up by a half-time performance from the Blue Man Group and punters should back them to mark the occasion with maximum points.

Their hopes of a US Open Cup final berth were shattered by a 2-0 loss to Atlanta United in the semi-finals but they followed that disappointment with a respectable 1-1 draw away to Toronto.

Orlando, with Nani in their ranks, are still in contention to make the playoffs but the same cannot be said for Kansas City, who are eight points adrift of the finals series places.

They have lost three of their last four matches and their defeat to Real Salt Lake last time out epitomised their current run of form as Felipe Gutierrez missed a penalty and Daniel Salloi was shown a straight red card.

Sporting's lack of attacking firepower is highlighted by the fact midfielder Gutierrez is their top scorer with ten goals this season and they leave a lot to be desired defensively as well, shipping nine goals in their last four assignments.

They have won only three of their 12 matches on the road this term and, although Orlando have work to do if they are to make the playoffs, they can take a big step in the right direction with a win.
