Oriend could finally snap their winless run
National League
Kick-offs 3pm Saturday
Leyton Orient are waking up to the fact that they are at risk of a second successive relegation but they can halt an alarming 14-match winless run by taking three points at basement boys Solihull Moors.
At the start of the season Orient were targeting a promotion push. Now it is all about survival and they have identified former Northampton manager Justin Edinburgh as the man to lift them out of trouble.
Edinburgh had a tough time with the Cobblers and was sacked in August after presiding over four straight defeats at the start of the Sky Bet League one season.
But he has a proven track record in the fifth tier, having led Newport to promotion in the 2012-13 season.
In time Edinburgh will hope to achieve the same feat with Orient but, for now it is all about increasing the gap to the bottom four.
Confidence is low but Edinburgh is boosted by the return from suspension of nine-goal top scorer Macauley Bonne and centre-back Jamie Sendles-White.
Despite their problems Orient are eight points above Solihull, who have lost five of their last six home games.
A change of manager has made a difference for Barrow, who have won two of their last three matches under Ady Pennock.
The Bluebirds had not won an away league game when Pennock was appointed at the end of October, but that soon changed with November successes at Eastleigh (2-0) and Gateshead (2-0).
They can make it three away wins in a row at the expense of 17th-placed Halifax, who haven't won any of their last ten league games and are without goalkeeper Sam Johnson and left-back Scott McManus through suspension.
