National League: Saturday football tips and betting preview

Barnet Bees can get a buzz out of stinging Havant

Having entered the season as promotion contenders things haven’t gone to plan for Barnet, but they can round off their campaign on a high when they take on Havant.

The Bees were arguably hampered in the league by their FA Cup run, and inconsistency has been their downfall.

However, they still possess plenty of quality and should be able to trouble a Havant defence who have conceded the most goals in the league this season, and at least two in each of their last seven matches.

Maidstone and Aldershot have already been relegated, but the Shots have looked a much better side lately.

Things have gone from bad to worse for the Stones since the turn of the year. They have won just three of their 19 league matches and dropped to the bottom of the table after losing to Braintree last week.

They have won just three games at the Gallagher Stadium, and with Aldershot showing improvement to lose only two of their last seven, they look the team to side with.

The game between Wrexham and Harrogate could be a rehearsal for the playoffs next week, and the visitors look a big price to shock their opponents.

Wrexham have the best home form in the league with a resilient defence who have conceded just 12 goals in 22 matches, but Harrogate’s fearless attacking style is sure to be on display even if both teams opt to rest some players.
