The National League's truncated 42-game season is just a week away from its conclusion but 12 of the 22 teams are still involved in the race for promotion including eighth-placed Bromley, who can enhance their playoff push with a victory at 15th-placed Aldershot.

Only an inferior goal difference separates Bromley from seventh-placed Chesterfield (holders of the sixth playoff spot) and the Londoners approach the weekend with plenty of confidence after a four-game unbeaten run.

Andy Woodman's side have not lost on their last seven road trips and came from behind to clinch a 2-2 draw at promotion rivals Notts County last weekend.

Ten of Bromley's 17 league wins have come on their travels and they should be to strong for the Shots, who have lost four of their last five matches.

Eighth-placed Eastleigh are another of the teams hoping to break into the top seven and can boost their chances with a victory at home to 13th-placed Boreham Wood.

Five wins in six matches have kept Eastleigh among the playoff-chasing pack and they have a game-in-hand on the teams above them.

The Spitfires need to win their final three games to guarantee a playoff place and can take the first step at the expense of Boreham Wood, who are out of promotion contention.
