Montreal Impact v Vancouver Whitecaps
1am Wednesday night

Montreal Impact host Vancouver Whitecaps as they look to further their Major League Soccer playoff ambitions.

The hosts are eighth in the Eastern Conference but have been on a terrible run of form, losing seven of their last nine league games.

Manager Remi Garde paid the price for poor results when he was sacked on August 21 and replaced by former Houston Dynamo manager Wilmer Cabrera.

Cabrera will be looking to bounce back after losing his first match in charge 2-1 away to Toronto. He will be confident of picking up his first win and helping his new side return to winning ways when Vancouver visit the Saputo Stadium.

Vancouver have struggled on their travels this term, winning two out of their 15 away games and Marc Dos Santos' men are unlikely to make it three in Montreal as they are bottom of the Western Conference and have won only two of their last 13 MLS games.

If they are to have any chance Vancouver will need to shore up their defence having allowed the San Jose Earthquakes a league-record 43 shots on goal in their 3-1 defeat last time out.

Montreal have more to play for and should win convincingly without conceding against a Vancouver side bereft of confidence and who have managed only five goals in their last seven away games.

Recommendation
Montreal Impact to win to nil
1pt 6-4 bet365
