The pressure is off for Monaco, who have already secured top spot in Group E.

Monaco are at their best when playing on the counter-attack and their young side seem to be getting better with every Champions League game.

The French top-flight side were fourth seeds in the group but have been resilient and looked accomplished when deservedly winning 2-1 at home to Tottenham in last month’s crunch fixture.

They have been flying in the French league, winning four of their last five matches by at least three goals, while Leverkusen are winless in four games in all competitions.

Monaco are playing the better of the sides and look tasty to avoid defeat at the BayArena.
