Maribor unlikely to score with Sevilla desperate to qualify

Rojiblancos dominated Slovenians in September

BT Sport Extra, 7.45pm Wednesday

Maribor have looked totally outclassed in Group E and the Slovenians could struggle to create anything against a determined Sevilla side.

The visiting Rojiblancos have travelled without manager Eduardo Berizzo, who is recovering from a prostate cancer operation, and his players will be doing all they can to qualify for the knockout stages.

A victory would achieve that and it would be a surprise if they are not strong enough to beat Maribor, who they dominated when winning 3-0 at the Roman Sanchez Pizjuan at in September.

Wassim Ben Yedder scored a hat-trick in that match and temporary manager Ernesto Marcucci will be looking towards him to inspire his side again.

Maribor could only create one goalscoring opportunity in Seville and they might not get much joy this evening.
