Rotherham v Preston

Rotherham have lost their last three in the Championship but 18 of their 22 points have come at home and they could lift themselves out of the bottom three by beating Preston.

The visitors head into the game short of first-team quality with Alan Browne and Ben Davies joining their long list of absentees.

Preston are winless in their last three against Sheffield Wednesday, Hull and Aston Villa and, with just two road victories this campaign, they risk joining Rotherham in a relegation dogfight.

Luton v Barnsley

Barnsley have fended off promotion rivals Peterborough and Charlton in their last two matches but a visit to Kenilworth Road could prove a step too far.

Luton lost the reverse fixture 3-2 in October but that was their last defeat in the league and they can extend their 12-match unbeaten run against Daniel Stendel’s men.

They won seven successive fixtures before the draw at Walsall last time out and have not lost on home soil this campaign.

Doncaster v Rochdale

Doncaster responded to their capitulation against Fleetwood by avoiding the potential banana skin of Gillingham last time out to reignite their playoff push.

Grant McCann’s men have won four of their last six in League One and can down a Rochdale outfit who were ripped apart by Bradford in their final game of 2018.

The visitors have shipped the second-highest number of goals on the road this campaign (24) and are without a clean sheet in their last six league encounters.

Crawley v Colchester

A five-game suspension handed to top goalscorer Ollie Palmer has hit Crawley hard as they head into their clash with Colchester having lost four of their last five matches.

Palmer will serve out the final game of his ban against the Essex side, who won the reverse fixture 3-1 in October.

United have kept clean sheets in four of their last six games and can contain a Crawley attack who are misfiring in Palmer’s absence and have drawn blanks in three of their last five.

Colchester
