Los Angeles should add to San Jose MLS misery
Earthquakes can contribute to goal tally

Sky Sports Football, 8.30pm Saturday
You can expect Los Angeles to add to San Jose’s MLS misery, but don’t rule out the visitors getting on the scoresheet.
Despite being bottom of the league, the Earthquakes have scored in each of their last eight matches, proving that they are no strangers to finding the net. Their defence, however, has been appalling, and they have conceded 21 times in that period.
Sunday’s 5-1 home defeat to Kansas City was the end of the road for manager Mikael Stahre, who was fired the next day. But a narrow 4-3 loss to league leaders Atlanta on Thursday indicates that San Jose are still capable of scoring.
As they make the trip across California to face an LA side who have notched the most times in the Western Conference this season, interim manager Steve Ralston will be hoping for a similarly spirited performance from his side.
Los Angeles have taken 11 points from their last five matches, scoring ten goals.
While it will take something special from the Earthquakes to stop their state rivals claiming victory, don’t rule out San Jose making it nine straight games in which both teams have scored.
