Lively Raith could sneak past Airdrie in a thriller

The entire country is surely set to ignore the Manchester derby to watch this Ladbrokes League One showdown on a plastic pitch in Lanarkshire but Raith Rovers should have enough about them to sneak a success at Airdrie.

Those viewers who do tune in might actually see a decent game. Airdrie have had some thumpings on the road, conceding six and seven goals at Arbroath and East Fife, but they are generally much better at home.

Rovers have come through a sticky patch and the Kirkcaldy men really should stick close to leaders Ayr with a win, although it's entirely possible that they could lose a goal along the way.
