Match preview
Success in the Europa Conference League would save Leicester’s season from being one to forget and standing in their way at the quarter-final stage are PSV Eindhoven.
The Dutch side overcame FC Copenhagen 8-4 on aggregate in the previous round, one of a number of high-scoring affairs they have been involved in recently.
In fact, PSV's last six matches have produced 28 goals, an average of over four per game.
Roger Schmidt’s side dropped points with a 3-3 draw against Twente on Saturday, leaving them four points adrift of Ajax in the Eredivisie.
The high-scoring, leaky Red and Whites may have met their match in Leicester, who have suffered from similar problems all season.
The Foxes' ten European matches have seen an average of 3.7 goals per game and both teams have scored in eight of those ten fixtures.
The return of Wesley Fofana to Brendan Rogers' side is a welcome bonus but they have still conceded in their last four games.
A strong home performance saw the Premier League team overcome Rennes in the round of 16, winning 2-0 at the King Power before a 2-1 defeat in France allowed them to squeak through to the last eight on aggregate.
These are both teams with a wealth of talent in attacking areas and attack may well prove the best form of defence for both sides.
Leicester’s unbeaten home record in Europe this year may give them the edge, but PSV will give as good as they get in what looks likely to be an enthralling encounter where over 2.5 goals looks a solid bet.
Key stat
PSV's last six matches have produced 28 goals, an average of over four per game.
