League or Ireland betting preview

UCD travel to Finn Harps on Friday night for a crunch relegation showdown and College look decent value to claim all three points in what is sure to be a dramatic encounter.

Despite losing some key players, UCD have been slightly better than Harps this season and head into the final two games of the season three points better off than their hosts.

College are a big price to beat Harps given that a point would leave their fate in their own hands and the hosts almost certainly have to win to avoid automatic relegation to the First Division.

UCD have been in excellent form of late and playing home or away makes little difference to them.

Sligo Rovers host St Patrick's Athletic and look a generous price to claim all three points.

Sligo are finishing the season in positive manner, despite being out of the European places.

Saints, meanwhile, were very much second-best against Shamrock Rovers last weekend and this looks a close enough game to suggest Sligo could offer a spot of value.

If St Pat's are beaten at Sligo then victory for Dundalk at home to Bohemians would be enough for them to secure third place and European football next season.

And they could hardly have wished for a better opportunity given Bohs have nothing to play for at the end of a largely forgettable season.

Dundalk have been conceding a lot of goals, but with a big crowd behind them they should have enough to take the points.

Champions Shamrock Rovers host Derry City on Sunday in a dead rubber and there is also little on the line when Shelbourne welcome Drogheda at Tolka.
