Preview
Dundalk should get the job done in the Louth derby at Oriel Park on Friday evening.
Five clean sheets in a row, with few chances coughed up in that time, show how strong Dundalk have become defensively.
Since the mid-term break, Drogheda have scored just once in three games and they are definitely weaker minus Sean Roughan and Sam Long, who have returned to Lincoln after loan spells.
Drogs beat Dundalk at home earlier in the season but the Lilywhites have clearly improved since, and they were the better side for much of that game in any case. One goal might well be decisive on Friday.
Shelbourne host Finn Harps in Friday's other top-flight contest.
Shels are a shade of odds-against and, having lost the corresponding fixture 3-0 earlier in the season, this game doesn't offer much punting appeal.
In Division One, Galway United will attempt to close the gap on Cork City, who have the week off, against Cobh Ramblers.
Waterford desperately need to beat Wexford but it's hard to think they should be as short as they are after a tame performance at Galway which badly dented their promotion hopes.
Wexford are still very much in the playoff race and at 4-1 with the draw no bet, they merit a small interest at the RSC.
