League of Ireland: Johnny Ward's betting preview and tips for this week's action
Cork set to struggle against rampant St Patrick's midfield
Kick-offs from 7.45pm Friday
Take St Patrick's to compound Cork City's problems by winning at Turner's Cross.
Cork produced dire performances against Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers and barely created a chance in either game. Pat's beat them when the sides clashed in week one and should be confident after a deserved win over Dundalk.
St Patrick's are solid at the back and, after an outstanding midfield performance against Dundalk, they will fancy their prospects of getting plenty of possession as Cork's engine room has been struggling.
UCD were poor when they faced Derry in week one, showing inexperience, but they have hit form since and might be a bit big against the Candystripes, who have had a decent start to the campaign.
The Dublin side have players good enough to start for any team in the league, such as Gary O'Neill, Neil Farrugia and Liam Scales. Derry will need to be up for this and UCD hammered Waterford, a team of similar quality to the visitors, a week ago.
Waterford visit leaders Shamrock Rovers and they may struggle defensively against the Hoops, who have conceded roughly one goal every two games.
It should be pretty comfortable for Rovers, who have still not had the boost of one of their strikers hitting form.
Galway United are finding goals hard to come by and Cobh will fancy their chance of an upset in Division One.
