Preview

St Patrick's Athletic should be able to beat Derry in the League of Ireland on Monday night to put a bit of pressure on City boss Deccie Devine.

A loss would mean one point from three games for the Candystripes but more significant is that St Patrick's were far better than them tactically when they won 3-1 at Brandywell late last season and they have a promising young manager in Stephen O'Donnell.

Pat's played well against Waterford in week one and comfortably beat Sligo Rovers on Friday night, with Lee Desmond in a holding midfield role.

Shelbourne face a tricky task at Finn Park, which is a hard place to win at, and Harps probably deserve to be a bit shorter.

They have been competitive in both of their games, with Ollie Horgan setting up his team well defensively.

It is hard to envisage anything other than Shamrock Rovers (11-20) and Dundalk (1-6) taking the points against Waterford and Cork City respectively. The double pays 4-5.

Bohemians look short enough at home to Sligo Rovers but the price is understandable given Rovers' absentees.
