From 3pm Monday

A crucial five days of League of Ireland action begins on Monday, after which the title race may well be all but over.

Bohemians will have a big say in that regard and they bid to extend an exceptionally strong recent record against their big rivals Shamrock Rovers on Tuesday in front of a likely packed house in Tallaght.

However, Bohs are a long way off Rovers' level at the moment. The Hoops won their eighth match in a row at Derry on Friday and a ninth should be fairly comfortable.

Cork's dire run of form got worse when they lost to Waterford on Friday and Sligo should not fear them at Turner's Cross. Sligo never got going against St Patrick's but they are too big given City's collapse.

Dundalk need to beat UCD to stay in touch with Shamrock Rovers but College are a dangerous side to underestimate. They were the better team in the first half of their loss to Bohemians and Dundalk are not convincing enough to warrant their short odds.

Bet365 still go odds-against about Shamrock Rovers in the outright market when they should be far shorter.
