In-form Derry can silence Shamrock in a thriller

Dundalk should ease past labouring Limerick

Matches from 7.45pm Friday
Shamrock Rovers v Derry City, Premier Sports 8pm

European qualification is on the agenda for both Shamrock Rovers and Derry City, whose clash in the live game should be highly entertaining.

Rovers could be a little bit distracted coming into this, as there was quite a furore about the treatment of Sam Bone in the Bohs defeat last week.

He seemed to have suffered a head injury, helping to cause a situation where Bohs scored, and boss Stephen Bradley was forced to defend his actions afterwards.

Derry are hitting form nicely and look value at 5-4 draw no bet. They will have no fear from going to Tallaght, where their record is good, but they will probably concede too and both teams to score is appealing.

There are two huge games with respect to the relegation battle, starting with Finn Harps and Galway United. United's losing Lee Grace is a blow to their chance of staying up but they have every chance of beating Harps and 6-5 draw no bet is a bit of value.

They dominated both games against Harps this season and are probably in their best form of the year.

Sligo host St Patrick's on Saturday, and with both teams having been busy in the transfer window, the 12-5 about a draw seems a shade long. Sligo are defending pretty stoutly under Ger Lyttle, while Patrick's have improved at the back of late and this is likely to be a close encounter.

Limerick are in disarray and Dundalk should make light work of them at Oriel Park. Stephen Kenny is likely to have them wound up for this after some modest recent performances.
