In-form Alloa may not get it all their own way
Dumbarton are tough and will fight to preserve status
Ladbrokes Championship playoff final first leg
BBC Alba, 7.45pm Wednesday
Expect a cagey affair in Clackmannanshire as surprise packages Alloa host Dumbarton in the first leg of the Ladbrokes Championship playoff final.
Alloa comfortably eliminated Raith Rovers in the semi-finals and their fine form has made them favourites.
They are well organised and should be full of confidence after hitting their stride at the right time.
But Steve Aitken's men are tough opponents and will fight tooth and nail to preserve their Championship status. They have a happy knack of digging in and getting a result when it is needed.
It's likely to be tight with neither side renowned for their scoring exploits and the draw could be value.
