Watford manager Marco Silva is 6-4 joint-favourite with Paddy Power to become the next Everton manager.

Silva, who moved to Vicarage Road in the summer, is reported to be keen on the move but the Hornets hierarchy have so far rejected the approach.

David Unsworth is handling team affairs at Goodison Park and is 6-4 second favourite to get the gig on a permanent basis but early favourite Sam Allardyce has been pushed out to 12-1. Allardyce had been odds-on for the job but Silva appears to have jumped to the top of Everton's hit-list.

Carlo Ancelotti leads the betting to be next Italy manager following the Azzurri's failure to reach the World Cup finals for the first time since 1958.

The Italians were beaten 1-0 on aggregate in their two-legged playoff with Sweden and head coach Giampiero Ventura is expected to stand down.

Former Milan and Juventus boss Ancelotti is 7-4 with Hills to take over the role with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte next best at 11-4 to return to the position he left after Euro 2016.

Italy are 14-1 with bet365 to win Euro 2020 and 10-1 with Sky Bet.

Sweden are 80-1 with Betway and Sky Bet to win the World Cup in Russia next summer and they may be boosted by the return of talismanic striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ibrahimovic, Sweden's leading scorer with 62 goals, retired after the Euros in France last year but is evens with Ladbrokes to make a sensational return for next year's extravaganza.

Coral and Hills are more pessimistic about the Manchester United striker making his international return quoting 4-1 that he adds to his 116 caps.
