High-flying Thistle can stun weakened Dons
William Hill Scottish Cup
BBC Scotland, 3pm Sunday
Partick Thistle can make life tricky for Aberdeen in what looks set to be a tight William Hill Scottish Cup quarter-final.
The Dons bombarded Hamilton Accies in midweek, but somehow failed to score in a shock 1-0 defeat and they are facing a Jags side flying high.
Alan Archibald’s side have won four in a row and will be backed by decent support in the north-east with free transport being laid on.
The Pittodrie pitch is poor which doesn’t help the home side and injuries to key players Jonny Hayes, captain Ryan Jack and Mark Reynolds will weaken them further.
Thistle, with in-form striker Kris Doohlan, will be confident of taking the tie back to Firhill at the very least.
Recommendation
Partick Thistle or draw double chance
