Hartlepool look set for more Devon hell

Plymouth v Hartlepool
Hartlepool’s long trip to Devon ended in disaster last season and the near 800-mile return journey could be similarly miserable for the Monkey Hangers this term too.

A 5-0 reverse at Home Park in May highlighted the gulf in class between the sides and not enough has been done in the subsequent four months to suggest Hartlepool can stop Plymouth this afternoon.

Argyle missed out on Sky Bet League Two promotion in the playoff final and they suffered a small hangover early on with three consecutive defeats.
