Hammarby v Elfsborg: Allsvenskan betting preview & free tip

Hammarby boss Stefan Billborn has urged his team to continue to "attack, attack, attack" as they target a top-three berth in the Allsvenskan and they can flex their goalscoring muscle against midtable Elfsborg.

Billborn's men have won only seven of their 15 league assignments this term but their attacking players are in excellent nick, thumping Falkenberg 6-2 before a 3-2 success against Sundsvall.

Their front line is loaded with recognisable names including former Fulham duo Alexander Kacaniklic and Muamer Tankovic, who each have seven league strikes to their name, and American striker Aron Johannsson.

Hammarby will be a man light in midfield for the visit of Elfsborg, with three-goal skipper Jeppe Andersen suspended, but their superiority in the final third should guide them to victory.

Elfsborg are winless in their last six games and were outclassed in a 3-0 defeat to 2018 champions AIK last time out.

Their season aspirations are dwindling after taking maximum points in only four of their 15 league games in 2019.

A visit to the Tele2 Arena will present no easy task as Hammarby are yet to lose in their own backyard this season and only leaders Malmo (21) have notched more home goals than the Stockholm side (20) this campaign.
