Brazilian Serie A
12.35am Thursday

The top two in the Brazilian Serie A go head-to-head in Sao Paulo but bookmakers are not anticipating an exciting encounter with under 2.5 goals available at just 1-2.

Both teams to score is as big as 24-19 with 188Bet and that stance is understandable given that there has not been more than one goal in any of second-placed Gremio’s last eight games in all competitions. The goal tally for Gremio’s last four league and cup visits to Arena Corinthians makes up at three, too.

Leaders Corinthians hold a nine-point lead but they have hardly been accumulating points with style either. Only two of their last 19 league matches have contained more than two goals.

Four of Corinthians’ last six home matches in all competitions have seen two or fewer goals including defeats to bottom-of-the-table Atletico GO and Vitoria.

However, Corinthians did delight their fans with a 3-1 win over Coritiba last midweek, so the value bet looks to be a draw at 11-5.

Gremio, who drew 0-0 at Botafogo in the Copa Libertadores last month, have picked up a point on their last two league visits. Corinthians have drawn three games in the last month.

Recommendation
Draw 1pt 11-5 bet365
