Nottingham Forest’s Sky Bet Championship tussles this season have produced plenty of goals and a short trip to Pride Park to tackle neighbours Derby should follow suit.

Supporters may have been concerned when last season's leading marksman Britt Assombalonga left for Middlesbrough but the addition of Daryl Murphy, who has notched six times this term, has erased the concerns and the Tricky Trees are one of the league's liveliest outfits.

Forest have failed to score just once in the league this term, in an early 2-0 defeat at home to Leeds. Mark Warburton’s men travel to Derby full of optimism following a 2-1 triumph at home to Sheffield United before the international break.

Forest's last five matches in all competitions have seen the nets bulge at both ends. Warburton's troops have notched in league defeats against Fulham (3-1), Aston Villa (2-1) and Wolves (2-1) - three sides who should at worst challenge for the playoffs.

However, the visitors are suspect defensively. Their only two clean sheets this term have come against Millwall and struggling Sunderland and their recent record against the Rams makes for tough reading.

They have lost four of their past six league trips to Pride Park and the hosts ran out ready 3-0 winners in this fixture last term.

Chris Martin, Andreas Weimann, Matej Vydra and David Nugent are excellent attacking options for the Rams and Gary Rowett will be hoping to see better from his side, who are winless in five league matches.

However, they are a much better team on their own patch, scoring seven times in their last three home games, and this fiercely contested fixture could be a thriller.
