THE League Cup has been rebranded as the EFL Cup but familiar pitfalls remain for punters with changes expected from the weekend.

Team news tends to be thin on the ground before a lot of these ties and information is likely to be more forthcoming nearer to kick-off, so MK Dons boss Karl Robinson deserves some credit for at least telling everyone of his plans early.

“We’re going to put out the youngest MK Dons team ever,” said Robinson after his side beat Shrewsbury 1-0 on Saturday. “I’m playing the youth team.”
