Match preview

Three successive victories have revived Borussia Dortmund's title hopes and they look worthy favourites to defeat highflying Leipzig at Signal-Iduna-Park.

Ambitious Leipzig seem to keep on improving and are five points better off than at the same stage of last season.

But they face a very difficult challenge against Dortmund, who have won 19 of 24 home league games since the start of last season.

Key stat

Borussia Dortmund are unbeaten in their last 12 home games.

Union Berlin v Hoffenheim

Match preview

Union Berlin have won five of their eight home matches this season and look decent value to win their mid-table battle against Hoffenheim, who are going through a tough period.

Union have posted four successive home victories, including a 2-0 success over title-chasing Borussia Moenchengladbach.

They should fancy their chances against Hoffenheim, who have taken one point from the last four games.

Key stat

Hoffenheim have not kept a clean sheet in their last five away fixtures.

Werder Bremen v Mainz

Where to watch

BT Sport 2, 5.30pm Tuesday

Best bet

Werder Bremen

Match preview

Four defeats in five games have dragged Werder Bremen into the relegation scrap but Florian Kohfeldt's side can give themselves some breathing space by defeating fellow strugglers Mainz.

Bremen lost 6-1 at Bayern Munich on Saturday despite scoring the first goal but have a much better chance against Mainz, who have lost seven of nine away matches this season.

Key stat

Mainz have not kept a clean sheet this season.
