Preview

Fuenlabrada are coping admirably in their first season in the Segunda Division and can maintain their unbeaten home record by holding highflying Real Zaragoza to a draw at the Fernando Torres Stadium.

Since forming in 1975 Fuenlabrada have been largely successful, rising from level eight to level two on the Spanish pyramid.

They finished top of Segunda Division B, Group One last season and look a capable second-tier side.

Fuenlabrada started the campaign with three successive victories and are sixth in the table, just two points behind third-placed Zaragoza.

Finishing inside the playoffs would be a dream for Fuenlabrada but there are greater expectations of Zaragoza, who are desperate to return to the top tier for the first time since 2013.

Victor Fernandez's side have started the season well – losing just one of ten matches – and are much improved in attack since the summer loan signing of Colombian Luis Suarez from Watford.

He has bagged seven goals in eight appearances, earning him a share of first place in the section's scoring charts.

However, Suarez hasn't netted in his last two outings and may struggle to make the difference against Fuenlabrada, who can add another point to their tally.
