Tottenham v Marseille

Marseille have made a decent start to the Ligue 1 season, but it is difficult to ignore the fact they have lost 14 of their last 15 Champions League matches, so Spurs, who are unbeaten this season, can make a winning return to the competition.

Inter v Bayern Munich

Inter have won just three of their last 12 home matches in the Champions League and that does not bode well for the visit of Bayern Munich, who have lost just one of their last 18 group stage matches in the competition.

Club Brugge v Bayer Leverkusen

Leverkusen have started the Bundesliga season with four defeats in five games and they may not be able to turn the corner against Brugge, who will be confident after winning their last four matches in Belgium's Pro League

Atletico Madrid v Porto

These two shared a goalless draw in last year's group stages and with Porto scoring just four times in six outings last term, there may not be many goals, particularly as 13 of Atletico's last 16 Champions League matches have featured fewer than three goals.
